Sad Siren Theatre
the woolworths project
as part of our ongoing residency at theatre delicatessen in sheffield, we are creating a new piece of site-specific theatre - 'The god of pick and mix' - about (and performed in) the woolworths on the moor.

in making the piece, we have been working with the people of sheffield to gather stories, memories, photographs and trinkets from the old shop.

if you have any memories of the sheffield woolworths, however small or everyday they may seem, we'd love you to get in touch via the form below. we're interested in every tiny detail, from what you bought there to the smells, tastes and colours you still associate with the shop. was woolworths part of your weekly routine or did you only shop there occasionally? did you go there as a child? what was your favourite pick 'n' mix, and which ones did you avoid? maybe you worked there or knew someone that did.

to us, every little story counts!
